CERT First Aid Course is a mandatory module for Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members.
This course equips learners with the primary skills and knowledge to respond efficiently to a variety of emergency scenarios, and how to manage them especially during the early stages BEFORE the arrival of SCDF ambulance.

Fire Safety Managers
Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members
Fire Safety Managers (FSM) will be allocated 10 CPD points upon completion of the course.
Learning outcomes:
Responsibilities and Duties of First Aider
Demonstrate how to use AED with the combination of CPR
Entry Requirements
ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 5 and above.
Does not have any history or underlying medical heart and lung conditions or any physical disabilities/problems such as the knee, spinal or joints injury as the assessment requires participants to do 2 minutes of continuous chest compressions.
Pregnant ladies are highly discouraged from undertaking the CPR practice due to safety reasons
If you do intend to proceed with the course, please seek your doctor’s advice to continue, and produce the doctor’s letter.
If you opt out of the CPR+AED assessment during the course, you will not pass the course.
Course Duration (incl ast)
Day 1: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Assessment:
The assessment will be conducted by IN HOUSE assessors.
Certification:
Singapore Rescuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) accredited CPR+AED provider certification with a 2-year validity.
Certification will be provided to learner on the day of passing the course
