Access Control Management (Operate Basic Security Equipment) (OBSE)
Access Control Management (Operate Basic Security Equipment) (OBSE) is one of the compulsory Security Officer courses. Existing Security Officers (SOs) need to pass this course by 31 December 2026 to continue to be deployed as a Security Officer from 01 January 2027 onwards. Learners who have completed PGPS&OBSE need not take OBSE. This course aims to equip Security Officers with the essential knowledge and skills to operate basic security equipment such as access control and closed-circuit television (CCTV) monitoring equipment.
