Guard and Patrol, Access Control Management (Provide Guard and Patrol Services and Operate Basic Security Equipment) (PGPSOBSE) is one of the 3 compulsory Basic Licensing Units (BLUs) required for a security license in Singapore. This WSQ course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to perform basic Security Officer’s duties such as patrolling and operate basic security equipment.

Entry Requirements For PGPSOBSE Training Course

Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or
Able to read, write, speak and understand English at WPL Level 3

*Individuals not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to an interview before acceptance.

PGPSOBSE Course Duration (incl ast)

3 days (23 hours)
Day 1: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Day 2: 8.30am- 5.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Day 3: 8.30am – 2.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Assessment (Day 3): 2.30pm start (2 hours)

Assessment:

The assessment will be conducted by POLWEL assessors.

Class is quite engaging, trainer Mr.Malvin is very knowledgeable. Recommend to revise the course notes; arrangement is a bit messy, some parts are missing. Overall the course is informative.
