1. Registrations for all courses must be submitted to Metropolis Training Academy at least one working day before the course commences. For weekend classes (Saturday to Sunday), the deadline for registration is Friday at 10:00 AM, which is the day before the course begins.
2. Metropolis Training Academy reserves the right to make changes to course schedules, dates, and venues, or to cancel a course if unexpected situations occur.
3. Course fees are non-refundable once attendance has been recorded.
4. To be eligible for the assessment and any available training grants, all participants must attend at least 75% of the scheduled training hours. In the event that any claims for training grants are rejected by SSG for any reason, the participant will be responsible for paying the full course and assessment fees.
5. All course payments must be received by Metropolis Training Academy at least one working day prior to the course start date to guarantee a place in the class.
6. Malaysian candidates are required to possess a valid work permit and are not eligible for any government training grants.
7. All candidates (including Malaysians) must have downloaded and registered for Singpass access before the course commences.
8. All candidates (including Malaysians) are to bring their Singpass and IC/ Work Permit for verification.
9. Malaysians who are pending to receive their work permit card would require a valid work permit number, passport and In Principle Approval (IPA) Letter from MOM to sit for the assessment.
10. Candidates may download their e-certificates at https://www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg/content/portal/en/index.html. Certificates will be available approximately 2 weeks after completion of the course.
Please notify MTA at least three working days in advance to reschedule a class.
Absent from Assessment:
If a candidate is absent for an assessment, a medical certificate (MC) covering the assessment date must be provided within one working day from the course end date. Failure to provide an MC will result in a re-assessment fee.
Weekend Classes:
For classes held from Saturday to Sunday, any rescheduling requests must be submitted to MTA by Friday morning at 10 am (the day before the course begins). No changes to registration can be made after this time. If a candidate is absent on any day of a weekend class, a medical certificate (MC) covering the assessment day must be submitted within one working day from the course end date. Without an MC, the candidate will be required to pay the re-assessment fee. The review of absences for non-medical reasons will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may lead to the course's net fee being applied.
Re-assessment:
Candidates who do not pass the initial assessment have the option to take a re-assessment within 60 calendar days from the original course end date. Re-assessment fees are payable via cash or PayNow only; SkillsFuture Credit cannot be used for re-assessment fees.
After 60 calendar days from the course end date, candidates who have not passed will need to retake the full course and pay the nett fee, which can be paid using SkillsFuture Credit, PayNow, or cash.
Refund Policy:
Please note that once attendance has been taken for a course, we are unable to offer a refund.
We also reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled, a full refund of 100% of any amount paid will be provided.
For cancellations made by candidates before the course commences, a full refund of 100% will be issued.
Payments made via SkillsFuture Credit and PSEA will be refunded in accordance with the respective regulatory policies.
