Learning Outcomes
This competency unit is sequenced to cover key points from the routine activities of the security supervisors such as preparing the induction of security officers, conducting induction on access control, patrolling, security alarm systems and reception duties. Upon learning learning about the routine activities and organizational procedures to perform induction of security officers, learners will next learn to apply the knowledge and skills to effectively perform induct Security Personnel and transfer the learning required to their workplace, which includes:
Prepare to induct security officers
Conduct induction on access control
Conduct induction on patrolling
Conduct induction on security and alarm systems
Conduct induction on reception duties
Entry Requirements
Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or
Able to read, write, speak and listen to English at WPL Level 3
Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3
Age 21 and above
Experience in Security Industry: Senior security officers and security supervisors
*Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance
