Through Security Screening Management (Conduct Security Screening and Search of Vehicles ), participants are equipped with the knowledge and skills to conduct security screening and search of vehicles


Learning Outcomes

The learning units are sequenced in a 'Chronological' approach reflecting the routine activities starting with "Prepare for security screening of vehicles" which covers the preparation activities for security screening of vehicles. The foundation will be built on in the subsequent learning units to cover topics such as perform security screening on vehicles, conduct systematic search of vehicles and lastly followed by conclusion of security screening activites. Learners will then apply the knowledge and skills to effectively conduct security screening and search of vehicles and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace which includes:

  1. Prepare for security screening of vehicles

  2. Perform security screening on vehicles

  3. Conduct systematic search of vehicles

  4. Conclude security screening of activities

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent  or 

  • Able to read, write, speak and listen to English at WPL Level 3

  • Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3

  • Age 21 and above

  • 6 months security industry experience as a Security Officer

*Individuals who do no meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance
