Security Risk Analysis (Assess and Address Security Risks)

Through Security Risk Analysis (Assess and Address Security Risk), participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively assess and address security risk and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace.


Learning Outcomes

The learning unit is sequenced to cover key points from the routine activities of the security supervisors such as assessing client security status, conducting site assessment, address security deficiencies and submit findings and recommendations. Upon learning about the routines and organisational procedures to assess and address security risk, participants will next learn to apply the knowledge and skills to effectively assess and address security risks and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace, which includes:


  1. Assess client security status

  2. Conduct site assessment

  3. Address security deficiencies

  4. Submit findings and recommendations


Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or

  • Able to read, write, speak and listen to English at WPL Level 3

  • Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3

  • Age 21 and above

  • Experience in Security Industry: Senior security officers and security supervisors

*Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance

Through Guard and Patrol (Supervise Security Officers), participants will have the knowledge and skills to effectively perform Supervise Security Officers and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace.
